Measure the outside dimensions of the frame so it overlaps the mirror.

Measure the thickness of the mirror and the bottom track if any. Have materials cut at a home improvement store and consider using style of door casings in home as inspiration for the look of the mirror frame. The other way you can do it is to just repurpose a picture frame and put a matching mirror inside of it. I didn t have clips on my mirror but did have a countertop on the bottom to work around i decided to make my boards overlap on top of the mirrror a good bit.

To adhere the wood to the mirror i used a liquid nail product that is specifically designed for mirrors. The first is building your own frame around the mirror using baseboard molding which requires a little bit of carpentry. Adding décor to the bathroom by installing mirror decorative framing. The deeper of the two will be the depth of the notch.

Use measurements to cut lengths of primed mdf baseboard. In order for the frame to mount flush against the wall a notch must be cut into the backside of the frame pieces. If the mirror is attached to the wall with screw clips either notch out the frame to accommodate the clips or remove the clips and attach the mirror to the wall with construction. Cut the corners on the frame square if using plinth blocks or at a 45 angle if mitered.
